Something Funny
While watching one of my favorite shows this week, NCIS, I noticed the following:

Music Studio
I think this news has traveled around the states, but I'll make it official. I've got my own private music lesson studio! I currently teach 1 voice lesson, 5 piano lessons and 1 violin lesson per week. It's great, but a little strange.... I feel like I was the one just taking lessons!


Stray or Not Stray?
Walking or driving around the streets of Okinawa, you see a fair amount of cats and dogs. Sometimes they're strays, sometimes not. You really don't want to see a picture of a stray Okinawan cat -- they're pretty awful looking. But the dogs are usually small dogs (probably because the island is so small -- there's not enough space for Labs or Retrievers). However, while driving to work today, I saw a Saint Bernard! That was one large dog! Hello "Beethoven"!

Sakura

On Monday, Joe and I ventured north to Nago to see the beautiful sakura (cherry blossoms). They are blooming in Okinawa and they were so beautiful! These photos were all taken at Mount Yaedake.

Oura Wan Beach

I realize it's been a little longer than "later in the week", but better late than never! Here are some pictures from the beach at Oura Wan. It was beautiful!
